Learning from Robert Rodriguez...

After viewing Robert Rodriguez's 10 minute film, I started to think about how easy and how well a movie can be made with such a low budget. The different angles at which the film scenes were shot were eye-catching and i was amazed to find out that Rodriguez only shot 25 rolls of film for the entire movie. This action sequence was shot with only a few frames, however it still looked perfect and clear. The edit made the film flawless and crystal clear. During the knife scene, Rodriguez had filmed it and then recorded the sound after the take and was able to sync the dialogue with the lip movement. This idea had suited the scene and the edit made the scene more realistic and natural. The camera zooming in and out suited the scene as when it was a threatening or violent dialogue being said, then the camera would zoom in to the actor to create tension.
